SafeStride is a sports injury prevention company built at the intersection of biomechanics, wearable technology, and smart data. Our mission is simple yet powerful: help athletes stay in the game by identifying injury risks before they happen.
Born from a passion for performance 
and a frustration with preventable injuries, SafeStride was founded by a team of engineers, sports scientists, and athletes who believed that better data leads to better decisions. We saw an opportunity to bring real-time movement analysis out of 
the lab and onto the field, where it matters most.

Founder & CEO
Dev Lochan is an internationally recognized inventor, researcher, and medical student with a background in biochemistry and biomedical engineering. With honors from global science fairs and a track record of developing cutting-edge technology, Dev is driven by a passion for merging science and real-world impact. He founded SafeStride to help athletes optimize performance through smarter, sensor-based movement analysis. Inspired by his own athletic journey and shaped by years of research in biomechanics and wearable tech, Dev’s approach centers on giving athletes and teams the data they need to move more efficiently, train more intelligently, and compete at their highest level. For him, performance isn’t just about pushing harder—it’s about moving smarter.
SID ASTRACHAN
Director of Sales
Sid Astrachan brings a sharp understanding of athlete-driven markets and sports culture to his role as Director of Sales. With years of experience in the sports business world, he co-founded Heat717, a performance and lifestyle brand that quickly gained traction with professional athletes and celebrity clients across all four major sports leagues. Through building and scaling that company, Sid developed a deep sense of what athletes look for—not just in products, but in trust, innovation, and results. At SafeStride, he uses that insight to help bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and the real-world needs of athletes, coaches, and teams. Sid is passionate about helping athletes move better and stay at the top of their game, and he brings the same energy and precision to every partnership he builds.
